Been playing with the idea, so I figured I’d go for it.

Aww! Thank you!

So jealous

So, what the heck have they been doing since last April? How do they not have that yearbook ready to go to print?!
If they need help, they should ask for help, because not saying anything and letting it go on this long is ridiculous.

gradUstinov?! WTF

So, the company needs 4-6weeks once they have the files to go to print, binding, shipping. So, for a regular school year, I’m guessing your last deadlines are sometime in April to make sure kids get them by June gradUstinov.

Wow. Okay, Friesens (the printing company that does the yearbooks) got back to me within a couple of hours. They do not have all of the files yet!
Yearbook teacher/yearbook class didn’t make all of the deadlines, by the sounds of it? This is bonkers.

Alright. Getting zero response from the school. Going to contact the printing company to see if I can get any information. Were the books even ordered?

Oh, interesting!

Sorry. That “talk” was barely a thread. I saw that man and his shadow while standing at a light and it made me think. I’ll often see certain things when I’m out and go, “how would I draw that?” Or, “what colours would I mix to paint that?”
November 24, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Why add the second arm to the shadow? I don’t know about you, but if it were drawn exactly as the photo reference, I’d go, “where’s his other arm?” Because I automatically expect it to be there. Before calculating the light and angles and all that jazz. It would take me out of the “story”.
