It's not a real sandwich. Or a real drink. Or a real snack (in my opinion)

Related: I was listening to Todd Rundgren's Healing the other day (with the two bonus songs at the end) and Time Heals feels like his attempt to do Hall & Oates without Hall & Oates.

War Babies is a huge favourite of mine. It's the sort of "catalogue" record that I can absolutely understand annoying people when it came out but when doing a deep dive on someone like Hall & Oates comes out sounding in-keeping, but different and fun.

Simon Pegg's presence in Mission Impossible is because JJ Abrams needed an analog in MI III of the character in Alias who understood computers. That character was called Marshall Flinkman, and I have failed to popularise calling this process "Flinkmanning". Original choice for the role: R. Gervais.

He's done a six-page backup in the first issue, reunited with his old pencilling partner-in-crime Sharky Whipsnade!

I think I'd be missing a trick not to have a fully operational cinematic universe here. It's just going to be a bit tiring drawing them all.

It's not right, is it?

I make no apologies for the "provocative" robot exhaust port in today's page; furthermore, I did it on purpose

Thanks Cheeseman! I wrote that joke 3.5 years ago, the brain cells responsible have probably withered away by now.
