"It looks like you're making a Powerpoint presentation but every cell in your body has been replaced since the last one I made", the sweet words I long to hear from our sentient paperclip friend

Comics artists who work with writers, I am doing a class for young comics writers and I would like to include some ANONYMOUS quotes from artists about things they hate getting in scripts. More "17-panel pages and cross dialogue" than "horses and bicycles". My DMS are open. SECRECY ASSURED.

Can anyone think of a crop that is farmed at the north pole other than ice pops? It's funny that climate change doesn't seem to have affected ice pop availability at all. They really are nature's most plentiful bounty. What's your favourite flavour? Mine's blue - the taste of cool Arctic water.

Someone linked to this old page today and I think it might be the ur-page of my comics approach, depicting:

1. Petty bureaucracy
2. Made-up names of things
3. Flagrant overconfidence
4. People getting along
5. Guileless simps

I wish I could remember how to draw like this too, very visually concise

Thank you to everyone who came to see this soggy old parade at Thought Bubble this weekend. I had a lot of good conversations with nice people, some for the first time, others for the first time in a while. I am lucky to get it, I say!

The Thought Bubble Festival is on this weekend, your chance to meet me and talk all things C*nan in a safe space. Muscles, swords, strength, beheadings, thews, Crom, serpent men. Remember that while others have tried to realise the Cimmerian in comics, only one man has truly delivered.

I'm rewatching Stath Lets Flats, I still don't know how everyone involved made it this good. My favourite sitcom of the last ten years. A joyous show.
