man I’m sorry, for whatever else you can critique about American liberals from the left, “they love having meetings” isn’t one you really have room to make
"Every single day for four years I have thought about Nazi jurist Carl Schmitt gloating that you can dismantle a democracy right in front of a liberal's face piece by piece and all they'll do is convene committee meetings till the boots are in the halls."

Will any of the reporters who credulously peddled the "rogue staffer" story issue retractions or burn their anonymous sources? Don't print lies in the newspaper
BREAKING: Trump says he 'didn't make a mistake' with his racist video post.

Q:  "A number of Republicans are calling on you to apologize for that post. Is that something you're going to do?"

Trump: "No, I didn't make a mistake."

He adds later: "I guess it was a take off on the Lion King."

Honestly, the fact that it has been litigated before with an unsatisfactory result is exactly why it should be relitigated again and again until it sinks in it‘s not just “Trump being Trump,” he’s not your wacky fun uncle, and it should not be acceptable behavior by an American president.
“dems should not engage on trump calling the most popular couple in american politics, including the first black president, monkeys because we’ve already litigated trump being racist” is an mindblowing take
No. It's brilliant election denial propaganda setting the stage for something darker.

Dems should stop being his messenger boys.

"Trump is racist" has been litigated 1000 times and it's not a dealbreaker. Clearly.

the Obamas are by a wide margin the most popular political figures in the country and the video is so bad major newspapers are flat out calling it "racist" rather than "racially charged"

their only move with anything is to double down so by all means let them double down on this
every dem should immediately shift to the obamas-as-apes video trump posted, because it is instantly recognizable to normies are insanely racist and opens up numerous lines of questioning

I thing the point of confusion is that you people clearly are not going to do anything else, so the neoliberal here is quite reasonably reading this as a statement without actual content

Notably there isn’t actually any additional or alternative strategy mentioned

Love how the presumption here is that the President doesn't know what he's sharing and that's fine and normal.

Sorry, no, if the President doesn't know what he's sending out then that is indisputable proof of gross incompetence, cognitive unfitness, or both.
The New York Times has finally covered the Trump video of Obama as an ape — and they are still providing cover for him. Fuck the Times.

Child at the podium: “A woo woo woo.”

Mamdani: That’s how I felt when we came up with this plan. Together, we will expand the idea of what is possible in our city—and what sounds and noises we can make at a press conference.

If I had to give one piece of relationship advice to young women who are attracted to men, it would be to only date men you think would be fine with you making more. Nothing wrong with him making more or even you being a stay at home mom. But if he'd be triggered by you making more, he's a loser.
I don't know how many girls got psyoped into thinking being strong and independent was loser shit and the tradwife life was all fun and games, but any number above zero is too many.
