My daughter is entering the workforce now in the next couple years and my advice to her has been mainly "if they tell you they're a family... run." I mean, seriously, who the fuck wants to work at a business that's run like a family? Like Leatherface's family? Manson's? Addams'? What family?

I love how everything is garbage now. I bought a pair of $25 Sony headphones in the early 2000s that lasted at least a decade. Now if I spend $200 on a pair of allegedly much better headphones I can look forward to buying $30 replacement earpads every few years when the fake leather rips apart.
