Is the antichrist the guy covering everything in gold and using all of his power to bend laws to him while renaming every monument in his name and making gold idols of himself? No? Is the antichrist the guy who uses his son’s blood to stay young forever?

Every few weeks I update blender and think I can spend 5 minutes to learn it and then build a really complex model, and 10 minutes later, I close the app convinced next time it will work out.

I’m really wondering how do I archive artwork on media that will last that is digital and not tied to the cloud or hardware that might fail. I’m beginning to think we screwed the pooch abandoning blue rays and CDs For storage

Just imagine the back room power you must have to be able to do go “lads I’m about to be seriously disgraced any chance we could do a lovely profile that’ll make me look like i was only accidentally friends with a nonce and I’m just a little guy” and they still run it after all that’s happened.

Conspiracy theory: there are more muppet shows. There’s no way they haven’t greenlit the muppet show already before it was available for the public to watch and all of this is part of very clever marketing plan.

Democratizing the arts looks like universal income, low-barrier grants for both emerging and working artists, well-funded municipal arts & recreation programs, vibrant third spaces, and a well-funded public school system with progressive curriculum.

Every instance of "AI democratizes the arts, you're classist and ableist and a gatekeeper for trying to stop it" is a slap in the face to the literally centuries of poor, disabled people making art on the margins and a crass lie in service of a machine that strips down and regurgitates dreams
