And since it has been so long (and so few people had read those couple of issues) I took the opportunity to redo the art and refocus the look and storytelling towards a YA audience, which wasn’t an established audience/approach in comics back then.

Honestly, that’s a big benefit of it for me. I feel guilty if I’m not posting things for my subscribers. It gives me that extra incentive to actually get things done.

I letter for the same reason I color my own work now -- because I can't afford to pay someone who knows what they're doing to do it.

Though, as you know, having to do it yourself really makes you appreciate the skill and knowledge of the people who know what they're doing.
