In news that surprises nobody who actually understands things about these systems…

But DOGE is built different

this is one of those cases where I think no, even rhetorically, you don’t go there. you draw a bright red line and when someone talks about denaturalization you laugh in their face and say “what are you taking about, we don’t do that in America” instead of dunking on their side’s immigrants
Democrats should promise, today, that Melania Trump, Elon Musk and Peter Thiel will be stripped of citizenship and deported if the administration advances this effort
cool, cool. so we are sort of like citizens, but not really?

Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again

I’ve been genuinely astounded at how quickly & effectively RFK Jr & his allies—Drs Prasad, Bhattacharya, Makary, Høeg, Oz, & Kulldorff—have been able to dismantle the US vaccination system, including vaccine R&D

I thought guardrails might slow them, but nope
In terms of what cures are being lost:

- Epstein-Barr virus is perhaps the major trigger for multiple sclerosis
- herpes simplex virus causes cold sores, genital herpes, infections in babies, deadly meningitis
- shingles virus causes an intensely painful disease

The National Design Studio has linked to a few designers from its LinkedIn, most of whom started in October 2025 and all of whom came from flashy brand-marketing and advertising backgrounds. I've updated the staffing on dogetrack.info/agencies/nds/ accordingly
National Design Studio
In August, EO 14338 created the National Design Studio, with DOGE member Joe Gebbia subsequently named Chief Design Officer. Is this really something new or just the old DOGE playbook under a new name...

Just watched the Biggs Cut with my wife. Deeply satisfying. I completely get why 80% of Biggs was cut from the final film, BUT if you don't care about pacing and are just interested in character development, SO MUCH ABOUT LUKE ONLY MAKES SENSE IF YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH BIGGS

What a story:

“Lewandowski and Noem, both married, have denied the reports of the affair, but people said they do little to hide their relationship.

“The pair have been using a luxury 737 MAX jet, with a private cabin in back, for their travel around the country”

You know how facts have a liberal bias? Facts also have an air gap.
Right, another key thing that historians do is working with important records that have not been digitized.

And the vast majority of the world’s records *have not been digitized* and thus do not exist in any format that LLMs/AI can work with.
it's literally impossible for an LLM to do a historian's job

it's not even LLMs sucking it's that they need data input to do anything and where's that data supposed to be coming from without historians

never met a computer that can dig through a thousand year old book in a library
