Don’t worry, a bunch of Supreme Court Knowers have assured me that they’d never entertain touching Lawrence v. Texas so this must just be red meat for the base, nothing to be worried about 👍
I’m going to go out on a limb and say it isn’t good that the federal government is calling people “sodomites”

as a reminder, they still haven't built a single one of their proprietary turbines for use on one of their airplanes, which they also haven't built any of yet, but yeah sure
Incredible scenes here: Boom Supersonic is raising $300mm and pivoting to AI by signing a contract to supply its turbines as electrical power for data centers. They're even talking about converting turbines from simple to combined cycle via a "field upgrade". This is all deranged.

Crusoe will pay Boom $1.25 billion for more than a gigawatt of generating capacity with deliveries of the turbines starting in 2027.

I am far from the worlds’ biggest NATO fan but replacing it with The Global Fascism Project is uhhh probably Bad
This is far beyond 'NATO as we've known it is done.'

"The Trump administration had “a clear and consistent vision for Europe: one that prioritises US-Russia ties and seeks to divide and conquer the continent, with much of the dirty work carried out by nationalist, far-right European forces.”

It’s gonna be so cool when the only movies left in theatres are, like, a sixth try at a Superman reboot and Triumph of the Will 2: Electric Boogaloo

wow they really just went with “hey you have to save this old Jewish guy from the literal death camp so you can get the Space Laser Technology”. Interesting choice, narratively,
I like to watch my wife play video games. she picked up Wolfenstein: The New Order recently and it's really good and quite entertaining but I think it's slightly too depressing, right now, to watch a game about a world in which the Nazis won, because,

the real problem with posting medium format film photography on Bluesky, an app 90% of people use their phone for, is that the vast majority of my medium format photography is meant to be seen printed out in front of you no less than two to three feet wide

They want to escape from regulation and ‘failing’ democracy — but are they more opportunistic than libertarian?
