Also, just got my covid booster (novavax), and I got my flu shot a couple weeks ago. Im not masking as often as I should be, but I continue to attend to basic healthcare, bc I dont want to die of a preventable illness. I would be so mad.

Fenway health in Boston has stopped providing gender affirming care to trans youth.

I was previously on the board of this organization and I've never been so disgusted with their leadership cowardly capitulating like this.

Like, violently opposed to it, yes. I am mortified, and I am just getting over learning that my psychiatrist is no longer going to be MY psychiatrist, bc they are making psychiatry, like, a one off, medication tweaking visit, rather than a relationship with a provider. It's madness.

If fenway thinks this will allow them to stay a FQHC, they are delusional. The Trump admin will not stop until they abandon all their trans patients and at that point, they might as well shut down because it would be such a fundamental betrayal of their patients.

This is insane, I followed my primary care to Fenway a little over a year ago - and in that time, the quality of care has seriously diminished, in my eyes. Therapy is now episodic - like, can you imagine being discharged from *therapy* after 3 months? Psychiatry is following suit - no relationships.

Here are the facts: he posed a public safety threat with an extensive rap sheet including violent assault with a dangerous weapon, battery, breaking and entering, destruction of property.
He was in possession of a firearm and 5-7 inch knife when arrested.

I think if you stopped at 'to give DHS's response' it would have been a lot better. You absolutely do not need to carve out space for the possibility that the gestapo is telling the truth. It gives credence to the absurd - let them provide evidence, for once, if our doubt bothers them.
