Just found an error in a Seinfeld script, “high tea with Mr. Newman.”
czedwards.bsky.social
Psst:

A reminder for American writers: High tea is not fancier tea, it’s supper. It’s a more substantial meal with a main dish, rather than tea, biscuits, scones, little snack foods. And it’s high because it’s served on a high table — dining table height — not a low, tea or coffee table.

What to call the experience of seeing 60 Minutes lay out a Laura Loomer mega tweet, in side-by-side unfolding screenshots suitable for television, just to explain how Timothy Haugh got fired from the NSA and how that has serious implications for cybersecurity

Keep filming these motherfuckers. Let them never sleep well again as they torture families and destroy people’s dreams.

I think part of the derangement of things is the fact that every single member of the secret police knows that there is a decent chance that literally anything they do will be filmed and put on the internet. And if their face is showing, they'll be identified within minutes.

I’ll give a $1000 to the first branded abundance bro who’ll say that it was bad that John Arnold funded one of the leading architects (Prasad) of Trump’s anti vaccine policies.

It is incredibly clear that Stephen Miller has decided this guy must be tortured, and nothing else will suffice, otherwise the Trump administration looks weak.

So Kilmer Abrego-Garcia will not challenge a deportation to Costa Rica, who has agreed to for him residency, but DHS won’t agree to send him there because it’s not cruel enough.

www.nytimes.com/2025/10/10/u...
For weeks, Mr. Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who is married to a U.S. citizen, has made clear that he would not challenge his deportation if he were sent to Costa Rica, which has promised him legal residency and guaranteed that he would not be sent back to El Salvador.

But the Trump administration has refused to deport him to Costa Rica, and in an earlier hearing this week, Judge Xinis pressed the administration to consider the option or clarify why it was unacceptable.

Loomer is one of few people in the country who has fewer redeemable qualities than MTG. Just an absolutely mentally ill, gutterbrained loser. In a sane country, the entire Trump administration would have collapsed in scandal from Trump "associating" with her

Friday night: ~1,250 fired in CDC, immediate pushback.

Saturday: administration says layoffs were in 'error'.

*But* does not specify how many.

Now, @axios.com reports ~600 remain RIFed by an admin that blends incompetence & malice to public health.

Mismanagement should have consequences.

About 600 CDC staff in offices dealing with health statistics, injury and violence prevention, congressional outreach and human resources are out of work as a result of the Trump administration's mass layoffs of agency workers Friday, sources familiar said.
