I've had a couple of drinks, so here's my unfiltered thoughts. My trans friends rule, and the 'reasonable' transphobes that have popped up once or twice on my timeline can just fuck off and die.

Quick note to anyone thinking of buying my books: please purchase the new Swift Press versions, NOT the relatively small number of Unbound versions still knocking about, & being sold by OOINYA. Unbound stopped paying me for my work early in 2024 and I will never see a penny for these books.

In Pluribus, America has finally created its own Victor Meldrew, a post-apocalyptic Arthur Dent, pottering about, wishing the fantasy adventure story they’ve become trapped in would fuck off.

For a country obsessed with the individual, is this the first non-heroic loner they’ve run with?

Daniel Woodrell died of pancreatic cancer at 72--the same cause and age of my own mother's death. This cancer is detected late & works swiftly. My mom got 100 days from diagnosis to death. Recently, researchers have made advancements in treatment, but the GOP is putting a stop to that. 1/

This is a Bill Simmons game, but you’re stranded on a desert island. You can only have one actor’s filmography. You get it all, including cameos. But just the one performer.

I’m taking Cate Blanchett: Talented Mr. Ripley, LOTR, Life Aquatic, Black Bag, Tár, Ponyo, Hot Fuzz, Eyes Wide Shut, Thor

What is a movie that you love that would surprise most people who know you?

Pretty Woman.

Most people that know heat me talk about obscure horror and B movies. I think they’d be surprised how much I love this movie.

Yet out medical establishment saw that and wrote this in February 2022.

They have a high tolerance for viruses hurting kids. They shown 0 evidence it bothers them at all.

Everyone is getting upset about the data centers. They pollute a lot and use a lot of energy and will eventually be very ugly/huge vacant buildings. And I understand being mad about that. Until you consider the state of the lazer tag industry at this moment, and how much help that sector needs.

McConnell is to blame for Trump being in office. When he refused to hold a hearing in the Senate (twice) to impeach him after the HOUSE had already done so, he basically set this up.

That’s rich coming from the architect. McConnell is just as responsible as Trump. He thought he could still control Trump and the senators, but he got older and Trump got bolder.
