Step 2: bottom bracket. A bit of grease, easy to install. Got the right tool, too, but a 1/2" bit on the torque wrench is needed 😭

La couleur dépend de la race des poules, c'est tout. Faut les mettre au frigo parce qu'ils nettoient leurs œufs, ce qui enlève la cuticule qui empêche que les salmonelles pénètrent dans l'œuf. Et c'est bien relou

100%! And the people working on this project want to do it right. But if any proposed improvement comes down to a choice between amore safety for people on bikes vs the possibility of a bit more congestion on Bronson, who's going to have the last word, Active Transportation or Traffic Services?

That boldness isn't what defines the majority of Council, but staff could/should encourage it. From the outside, it's not obvious they do (generally speaking).

Land use is going to get more and more constrained in the urban area, and trying to not upset anyone (especially drivers) is bound to fail. See the Bank project in the Glebe for the perfect example. Choices have to be made, with the TMP as a compass.

'Can't go safely through Bronson/Gladstone': we could, if the City were willing to expropriate/buy a bit of property, as it's doing elsewhere.
Let's see if adjusting light timings can at least happen, even at the cost of a bit of drivers' convenience.

The issue is not that staff is lying or incompetent, it's that some assumptions and parameters are set from the get-go and not open to discussion, or not even acknowledged. Or priorities sometimes aren't aligned with the TMP (ie car traffic being prioritised).
