This is an excellent explainer on why transit is in the situation it is in.

Transit is *essential* to areas with limited space and lots of people. And those spaces should be given more of the decision-making and funding to make it work great, not just to muddle along.

The other day, I had to be extra careful on my bike. I was going straight in a painted bike lane and the car on my left was turning right. Both the driver and the passenger were looking at their phones!
I know better than to trust drivers. I slowed down, yelled, and eventually the driver looked up.😮‍💨
