If a political party or a candidate can't say "Yeah trans people exist, transition is great for them. Let's talk about your fuckin rent" then if you get mad at trans people for not voting at them I truly don't see what it achieves.

Yeah, I really need to get around to recording the book as a series of short vertical videos. We wrote it in sections short enough that they should fit inside a 3min runtime. Most of them, anyway.

i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

UBI isn't meant to replace the income from all jobs, and we aren't going to lose all jobs, especially if we have UBI to maintain spending. What UBI excels at is functioning as a floor and a dividend to make sure everyone gets a rightful share and a cushion to prevent the worst + enable new pursuits.

These are intelligent people, so they certainly see there is no upper limit to the level of cruelty the voters they’re chasing want and that there’s no way to win their approval. And yet they continue regardless, knowing it’s disastrous, because the alternative is admitting that they’ve fucked it.
