Just finished another module in my data analysis course. It was the How to Spreadsheet module and just. Just. It was SO BASIC. Didn't even explain VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, or SUMIFS.

“An Irish Airman Foresees His Death” (Yeats) but only because I have a haunting musical version with Shane MacGowan reciting the lines in a mad rush at the end.

Lots of Yeats in my head—mostly fragments or single lines.
Which lines of poetry live rent-free in your head?

Happy Delaware Day! Today is the 238th anniversary of our ratification of the Constitution, making us the first state!

I never thought I'd stay here, but I have & it is home. Even though I have contracted Northern Delaware Driving Disease--if it's more than 5 miles away, it's too far.

Had a job interview this afternoon. I spent a lot of time prepping. It was a STAR style interview for those of you have worked at large companies and it was a lot. I can only hope that my pride in my prior work helps me. Decision by the end of the week. It does sound like a fun job. I hope I get it.

The whole series is wonderful. Read them all!
I had a book come out this year. It was the culmination of a decade of devotion and sweat. It didn’t make much of an impact but perhaps you’d enjoy it www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1250...

*quietly, so as to not jinx it*
I have a job interview next week. With the company that sent me a screening questionnaire on Friday.

It's a video interview, so I won't have to wear hard pants, just a nice top and some makeup.

I got a screening request for a job! Like everything up until now has been ENDLESS rejections.

I apparently ordered this for myself back in March and I was so surprised when it showed up, cause I thought it was a birthday present. I guess it is, from me. Good job past me.

Monica Lewinski went through Hell because of Bill Clinton and she was 21 when she started working for him.

Please leave that poor woman be in all the funning. She was destroyed by the public and he kept on keeping on as the president.

Alice Wong taught us that disabled people don’t just leave memories behind—they leave infrastructure. Lineages of care. Methods of collectivity, survival. She named the connective tissue that holds our communities together, even across death, even across the losses that come too fast and too often.

Time for GUILLERMO DEL TORO'S FRANKENSTEIN DISCOURSE!

I keep seeing people worry about whether del Toro properly did justice to Mary Shelley. And I have to ask: why is that del Toro's job more than anyone else's?

And also, didn't he?

And also, how could he? He's not a mother. 1/
