I find it a lot more challenging to read, for sure. But there are some real bangers in there, too. When I took the GRE a millionty years ago there was an identify the writer question which included the phrase "golden-thighed Pythagoras" which is a Yeatsian turn of phrase if I ever saw one.

It’s Yeats’s “The Circus Animals’ Desertion”—one of my favorites. It’s an old man’s thoughts about his life and it is IMO deeply autobiographical.

I hope your performance went well! We skipped our holiday concert bc we needed to interview for a new Artistic Director and Collaborative Pianist. We have the AD & he's awesome, but no CP yet. But we restart rehearsals on January 5 and I can't WAIT.

I've been here for 23 years and it feels more like home than the Midwest ever did. I am definitely an east coast girl.

It really, truly is. The old yarn shop was in Pike Creek and other customers commented on how far away I lived from it. I get the same with my choir.
