🤔Did You Know?🤔

Natalie Portman was considered for the role of Katey, and Ricky Martin was considered for the role of Javier. They were both the first choices.
Two pretty people finding love and dance against the backdrop of the Cuban Revolution

If parties are themed around real life horrors, why not just delve into the fear of being unloved and how life is meaningless.

"Statistically, someone here will die alone and their body will go unclaimed" the host says in front of a wall with guests mocked up divorce papers 👻🎃

Not only does Thiel say Ozy is certain before saying he expressed doubt a few sentences later--in context the man's asking it will be *a* solution eventually. Not asking about the longevity of it.

Plus, Manhattan tells him "nothing ends" not "nothing lasts forever"!

The original cover from 1988 went hard. This was all that the public saw before they cancelled the arc.

"If I put federal law enforcement and National Guard into a nice sleepy Southern town, is anyone gonna riot?”

Yes. yes they fucking will.

While the original has CGI that is nostalgic in a way, the squeal does not

analogous to both Blade Runner and The Shinning (highly influential movies with despite later that bombs despite a commercial and talented directors)

But this is Tron--not something that is in our cultural collective Oscar™️montage

I think 90% of the GOP obsession is some on the spectrum cant work and are on medicaid, or require special accomadations in public schools.
If they can blame on it choices (such as taking Tylenol), its easier for them to kick folk off gov benefits

I cant fathom the type of both arrogance and money someone must have to walk out of a show after paying $1400

I love that Beckett is still confounding people after all these years. It’s like “I went to see The Rite of Spring. I don’t know what the hell that was but it sure wasn’t music. I felt like rioting. One star”

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.
