I found a 19th century Cat Villain!

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

It wasn't exactly the beach weekend we imagined.

But getting out of town with loved ones is good, one way or another... I needed that.

Looking down between two houses at... a surprisingly high and somewhat angry ocean, bartering riprap the size of a small boulder

Beach Access Closed.

... I lied in the previous caption: those boulders are not small.

The pier seen to the left thru the sea oats is definitely worse for wear... we could see one of the supports swinging freely in the wind later

Dunes cut back like a cliff face, with the sea oats clinging to whatever they can. Broken beach access stairs are visible farther down the beach

The marker post for the beach access is way up there...

Idk how weird it is. I know my wife's, dad's, and brother's numbers but I've known them since before we assumed your phone would keep numbers forever. I know a few friends' numbers from decades ago that almost certainly don't exist anymore. And Grandma's, which was a HUmboldt-6 number...
