She would certainly never promote this but the idea that Taylor Swift has any contemporary peers is frankly charity work, taken numerically. The discordant ways that the music industry has evolved and measured things overtime makes legacy a bit complicated, but she is projected near all-time top.

This is quite gobsmacking audience capture for an artist this deep into her career. She is, depending on measure, ~20 years in.

(Note this is IMO overly dismissive of other few well-known concert films which can earn in the low 10s of million, but it's certainly not common)

Fundamentally, there is no on-the-page institutional structure that can protect you from an absence of virtue among the citizenry.

That's just where we are - voters have learned a lot of bad habits. A lot of people thought they could vote MAGA again and it wouldn't matter; bad habits.

I am forever grateful to the friends who stuck by me when I was in the worst of my depression and part of that gratitude is from realizing they had every right to walk away to protect themselves.

But at the same time being on the treated side of depression it's just so blindingly obvious when people are externalizing their own misery in an antisocial way and I want to help them but there's absolutely no way to.
