If I was a member of the party of Keir Starmer and Wes Streeting, I wouldn't attempt to criticise politicians for insincerity or their personal qualities.

This stuff is so hilariously untrue as well. Really desperate stuff from dickheads panicking that their right-wing briefcase heroes are fucked.

Coming to the conclusion that Zack Polanski's appeal has nothing to do with his personal qualities, but rather the fact he's a walking stereotype of a certain kind of totalizing British left-liberalism

‪David Klemperer‬ ‪@dmk1793.bsky.social‬
Yes except he isn't actually the stereotype, just someone acting out that stereotype for applause

Yeah you're probably right, he has a certain insincerity about him

If the analysis you followed brought you to this? Of what use was the analysis?

This is an image currently being used by a really worthy, important, campaign on Instagram - it's part of a clearly AI generated short animation full of similar awfulness.

Why. Why???!!!!! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

It does nothing to help the cause.

Don't have money to pay an animator/filmmaker? Don't do an animation.
AI generated image of a woman writing in a notebook using both hands at the same time. Her left hand holds a pencil. Her right hand holds a pencil. Half of another pencil is sort of snapped in half in the middle of that hand. The fingers are delightfully bendy.

Once again I'm asking why Labour MPs can't use the alt text feature on this app?! You are using it to communicate to your constituents and others, why not use a feature that ensures more people, particularly those with disabilities, can understand your message??

It's not hard to do either!
The Labour Government is bringing back family services to our communities, with £221,184 of investment for Gloucestershire.

Every child in the Forest of Dean deserves the best start in life, and under this Labour Government, we’re making that happen.

To help us get past all these accusations of student politics, I've built a tactical voting tool to help us beat Reform in the next GE.

It works right inside Bluesky. No need to input any personal data, it works quickly.

Result: For your constituency the best tactical vote is Green

I made a game a couple of weeks ago! For the very first time! Nearly 5000 people have played it! It's on the international games database! That's mad! PLUS it's about attempting to strangle a horse and dying in many, many ways! What's not to like!?

AND it's free!

M&S mini thread for a Wednesday morning.

One day, the second time I worked there, I was ringing up a women's order and asked if she wanted cash back.
Sam Altman told me OpenAI keeps burning his money so I asked him how much money he has and he just said he goes to SoftBank and gets more more money afterwards and I told him it sounds like he's just feeding money to the money fire and then his daughter started crying

i always like to remind people that the european commission's (admirable) push for one common phone charger is also what gave us one of the most batshit bananas pieces of political communication i have ever seen in my life
Heck, there are a lot of places in London you can get a very nice meal for two at about the same price.
As someone who thought his lasagne was already eye wateringlynexpesnive, this won't be for me.

I can get an XXL special mixed kebab, or a very decent Chinese takeaway for 2 for the same price.

The Greens target government.

I don't know if you noticed the papers this week but they are filled with stories about Reform's ties to Russian oligarch money. That's because Zack went on question Time and raised it while Labour sat there like a rabbit in headlights. That's how you target Reform.
There's always a condescending comment directed at people who think that things can be a little bit better

So your mission is to defeat Labour?
Student politics and music to the ears of Reform and the right.
As impactful as the Greens have been, Labour tanking in the polls is very much a problem of their own making.

Greens offer a home on the left to people that feel alienated by Labour.
Such a weird use of the term "target".

A cohort of Labour voters are potential Green voters. I imagine the same can't be said for many Reform voters.

Greens are attractive to some Labour voters because Labour have been targeting Reform by trying to win their votes with terrible policy & posturing.
Labour is pursuing net zero. Reform will abandon net zero. And the Greens target.......... Labour?
Just checked and I have 4 of these. You can change their clothes and hair and stuff.

Such an odd idea from the outset, I feel like it came late in the NFT cycle too, maybe just before their IPO to try to juice figures with hype.

Suffice to say I didn't buy any of them, I was just given them.
