Trans people would much rather be able to live openly and freely as our authentic selves than be able to say "we told you so," but it looks like "we told you so" is all we're going to fucking get. 😒

Very disappointed to hear that The Point in Milton Keynes is set to be demolished. I must visit it again for old time's sake.

The red neon pyramid at night was cyberpunk. It made it possible to pinpoint the centre of the town from the high ground

This literally means that if a trans person requires GnRH blockers for cancer treatment (i.e breast or prostate), they CANNOT get cancer treatment.

Insane. Absolutely insane - and deadly.
No matter what the politicians say, this is discrimination. Look at how the regulation is worded: This is not a ban on its use for a particular indication, it's a ban for a population.

In case you've perhaps missed this from Scotland.

#Scotcast televised 30mins of the interview but the podcast runs to 42mins. I'd have liked to have seen her face in remaining 12mins.

Why is the anti-trans BBC News platform featuring the ‘gender critical’ trans-hostile activist-lawyer, Naomi Cunningham?

Who is orchestrating the promotion of transphobes from within the BBC?

Where’s this, supposed, “pro trans” bias happening?? 🤷🏼‍♀️

#BBC #Ofcom #GCbeebies

Absolutely shameful that a regulator has to be dragged kicking and screaming to do its job.
Pleased to report that, after we intimated we would sue it, Ofcom has changed course and will look again at whether TalkTV is complying with the Broadcasting Code.

We are also now starting to look with our lawyers at the BBC's whitewashing of trans existence. goodlaw.social/vfq2

We said we’d sue over Ofcom’s decision to dismiss 22,000 complaints about transphobia on TalkTV – now the regulator has caved.

SEEN needs to spell out how astonishingly improper this is. A Gender Critical activist ‘journalist’ openly admits he was “invited to address the judge” in a criminal trial, even though he says himself he “doesn’t technically have standing”. This should NEVER happen in court.

Like I say: in America, they have Fox News. In Britain everything is Fox News, whether in the screaming shit-up-the-walls version of the Mail or in the arm’s length Many People Would Contend We Need More Migrant Camps form of BBC News. And this is much, much worse.

1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.

This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

These stories come in the aftermath of allegations that a small but mighty cabal of “LGBT reporters” had somehow seized control of the BBC and “censored” right-wing views.

How has the country allowed itself to be taken over by a tiny faction that considers itself to be waging a cosmic war against modernity and is trying to send us back to a pre-Enlightenment Medievalist world, but enforced with high tech gadgets?

Where does the "Free Speech" Union think it's going with this? The conviction that was appealed wasn't over speech, but over a physical action. Is the Union claiming that the event didn't occur, or that destruction of property is free speech?
The "Free Speech" Union misgenders Sophia and says it intends to fund an appeal.
