I’m unfollowing accounts posting Boomer Facebook style “repost if you agree” photos with “inspiring” messages without ALT text especially when they’re AI.

The point of this site is saying things.

Say something cool.

Say something uncool..

Say anything at all…

This may still work.

This Labour government has tried very hard to please the anti trans mob at every turn while holding on to the pretence they’re not the most transphobic government in decades.

That lie is now so blatant that they will move to open hate at some stage.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
Phillipson is scared being transphobic will harm her deputy leadership bid and hasn’t actioned this…

…and the EHRC have been publicly called out by the Council of Europe because the position puts human rights at risk…

…so someone is getting desperate.

We've written to @bphillipsonmp.bsky.social to request the government to revoke the 2011 services code and make our updated version statutory. It accurately reflects the law and updated guidance is urgently needed: www.equalityhumanrights.com/media-centre...
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
You must have seen the letter this week from the Council of Europe pointing out that your approach will lead to human rights abuses…

…so why are you still pushing this?

#Vinted wants to build a vibrant and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ staff - but their ads have also appeared on GB News' YouTube, funding content like this👇

Take action by asking #Vinted to pull their online ads from GB News: instagram.com/vinted

Write to them:

Such a small majority that if trans people and their families in the constituency switched votes then he’s gone…

This is a very interesting initiative from @humanrightsvicky.bsky.social. Not wholly free of difficulty - what is? - but a very novel approach to the UK's profound backsliding on trans rights.

We have jointly applied to the Council of Europe formally to seek re-opening of enforcement of the case of Goodwin v UK under rule 9 of the Rules for the supervision of the execution of judgments and of the terms of friendly settlements, in the European Court of Human Rights. T

This is discussion about people using it to generate pseudo legal documents.

There’s already solid search functionality which doesn’t boil the planet but these people weren’t using that.

I’m an adult. I have learned things from reading BISH.

Just because it’s accessible and reliable; it doesn’t matter that it’s not aimed at me.

I haven’t, ever, learned anything from reading AI except what the mostly likely next word in the sentence is.
justinhancock.bsky.social
Eg Since CGPT (and enshittification of Google search) visits to BISH have been down. Page rank is lower so BISH is getting served less. So it's out to destroy advice websites (that are free and ad free). But there's another issue and that is:
petraboynton.bsky.social
I have many worries about AI and 'advice' giving, but two pressing ones are how much useful information from advice columns, books, charities etc has been consumed and ruined to churn out harmful crap.

And how clearly advice giving has never been valued and continues to be devalued. Destroyed, even

ANNOUNCEMENT
This evening, 14/10/25 the Trans Advocacy and Complaints Collective and the Trans Exile Network have taken the next step in the struggle to restore the human rights, dignity & safety of UK trans people.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
The more absurdly absolutist the EHRC are then the clearer this case.

This is a time when I could have dealt with a having a weaker argument on Human Rights and an easier day to day but I don’t get to pick.

If I did? We wouldn’t be in this mess at all…
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
Yes.

Everyone is fucked by that.

So we fight them until we can’t and then we get people to safety to keep on fighting.

Because that’s how fascism ends.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
My opinion (subject to retrospective review by a court which could decide the moon is made of cheese…) is that it’s unaffected at this point.

Being worried about it makes sense though. The 🇬🇧 isn’t doing a good job of upholding basic rights at the moment.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
This is grim.

I’m not an expert on NHS politics but I think start with a complaint as you/a patient has been put at risk of harm without knowledge or consent and that *has* to be addressed?
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
This on the other hand?

If what Labour are saying now is true then 🇬🇧 is already in breach of our human rights obligations and has been for years…

ameresolicitor.bsky.social
Looking back at this and seeing a Labour government choosing option 3 in the most petulant manner possible…

…because this Labour government is determined to be worse than Thatcher for LGBTQIA+ people.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
He’s flagging that 🇬🇧 is in breach of it’s obligations with the result being:

1. They change the approach

2. They lose when this gets to the ECHR

3. The 🇬🇧 leaves the international human rights body we imposed on Europe to stop the rise of fascism happening again.

Labour is telling you VERY LOUDLY who to vote for if you value human rights. And it's definitely NOT LABOUR.
goodlawproject.org
Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.
ameresolicitor.bsky.social
Except that AI makes up citations because they’re common in the types of text being replicated…

…and that’s what predictive text is.

The whole point of human rights law is that the Government can be held to account when they breach people's rights.

If the Home Secretary doesn't like it, that's why she needs to hear it.
