The place AI (or rather, Machine Learning) is useful is in STEM stuff. Analysing datasets, finding patterns, picking out directions not yet spotted. Key here is that the output is validated and checked, not just accepted unquestioningly, like generative AI.

Once I stayed up all night drawing actual illustrations for a spot that ran nationally on short notice and I would like to tell the people who “hardly slept” because they were “writing prompts” that they are soft pathetic babies who can go to baby hell.
