Well that’s the rest of my evening’s ponderings sorted. I too doubt the stat. There must be a river that has had the most corpses, but can it ever be known? Do tributaries feeding into the river count? And obviously we’re talking humans, but what of other corpses to sell for meat etc?
My mother just told me - apropos of nothing - that out of all the rivers in the world the Thames has had the most corpses in it over the course of history.
I find this hard to believe.

Seen a lot of people wondering why X, The Everything App would have a feature that gives away how much of the popular right wing accounts are foreign actors and this is why. They thought every left wing account would be that way because every accusation is also a confession.
Planned Parenthood uses a VPN so its twitter location is shown as Germany and now all of MAGA twitter thinks Planned Parenthood is a fake organization based in Europe.

This is utter madness. We have a *Labour* government that thinks it's a good idea to brief that they are inspired by Trump's immigration policies.
I mean, it’s quite clever politics for someone from the Greens to pretend to be Shabana Mahmood’s special adviser and brief this sort of stuff to the Times, but I’m not sure it’s especially ethical.
