It's astonishing that somehow we have whole swathes of the political class that have not managed to connect "everything seems like a scam now" to a useful political platform.

it makes sense that Trump's chief of staff is an adult child of an alcoholic father, but it's also absurdly on the nose and totally fucking depressing. catching on to the fact that you're comfortable and "good" at that dynamic is the first step of breaking the pattern, not monetizing it for evil.

I don't consider "it's gay" to necessarily be a selling point, but I've played enough surrealist indie games where the narrative turns out to be a strained allegory for the straight male developer breaking up with his girlfriend that at this point I get redflagged by even a whiff of heterosexuality.
