Hello BlueSky folks!

My very first official game industry job was working on System Shock at Looking Glass - which was previously known as ...
"Blue Sky Productions"

So I take this as an auspicious sign for the success of the game dev community here!

The list of things the next admin needs to do for purely national security reasons is very long.

On top of potential exposure of the presidential bunker (see quoted thread), there’s going through all govt computers to find what Musk operatives put on there or accidentally let in, and so much more.
Which is to say the next Dem administration quite literally needs to tear it down on day 1 if for anything, national security reasons

Since Barack Obama, Democratic presidential candidates and "dark money" groups have raised more money than Republicans--often doubling them.

So much of the Dem money is wasted. Publishing a piece on this Sunday explaining these graphs and much more. I need your help to make the piece viral. Thanks!

Rise of the golden idol is made by two Latvian guys and it's still badly underpriced
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising
You can’t until later (this is not well communicated)

media should be doing this, showing what Trump destroyed of ours with no effort to reclaim or preserve anything
This is what it used to look like inside the lobby area.

another year, another question in my mandatory state employee ethics training that seems *patently absurd* as our federal administration runs on bribes & extortion

Oh no, did I accidentally eat *vendor supplied pizza*? Next time I’ll request a private jet to ensure I’m ethically above board

I am a HUGE sucker for any kind of in-game diegetic radio, like in Fallout or prominently in GTA. I literally will sometimes just sit in my car in the various GTA games to listen to the radio and be immersed in the cityscapes.
If you asked me what my favorite parts were to work on for The Outer Worlds 2, this would cover... a fair amount of them.

I thought that before I played Ghost of Yotei, but yeah - Hell is Us is an amazing game that I think got overshadowed.

This is the asymmetry in our politics and media. If this was the other way around, Biden had pardoned someone then charged with trying to kill Trump, it would be the biggest story in America and every Republican commentator, congressman, news outlet, would be screaming about it in unison.

Welp, I guess I am not quite ready for that Takezo fight on the mountain.

Maybe I will come back to it in the Yotei post game.

BY THE WAY

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.
