My husband of 19 years @kevingaustin.bsky.social passed away suddenly on 11/11/24; our cats died that year too & my parents in the year before that & it is A LOT. 💔

I literally just turned in a round of edits to my editor at Bloomsbury for my book about the founding of JPL and the Suicide Squad, and this is painful to see.

I still say "time to make the donuts" sometimes. Okay, less so now that I live alone.

(And I agree with the many people in replies. Big celebrities do their ads overseas, not here. Unless maybe for a Super Bowl ad we see once & never again. Except on the 'Tube now I guess.)

It is tacky for really famous people to be in TV commercials for products. Their gambling debts/boat repairs are not my problem, those roles should belong to actors like the Time To Make The Donuts guy and the actress who said "who are you calling a cootie queen you lint licker" in that Orbit ad.

Apple cider donut was breakfast. Fruit works.

My psychiatrist said good things today about the lowered A1C & cholesterol. Not much of a difference but some. I said the Metformin I'm taking probably gets credit for the A1C dropping & she said I should take the win (since I'm taking the pills).
