Remigration is an originally European far-right proposal of ethnic cleansing via the mass deportation of non-white immigrants and their descendants, sometimes including those born in Europe, with local citizenship, to their place of racial ancestry. It is popular especially within the Identitarian movement. Some proponents of remigration suggest excluding some persons with non-European background from such a mass deportation, based on a varyingly defined degree of assimilation into European culture.

Spoiler alert- it was a Catholic hospital. I’ve been reading stories about people being denied miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy care at Catholic hospitals for well over a decade now, and people have definitely died because of these policies, but maternal mortality data is imperfect.

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

So so so many years ago I had trans friends who were able to get care here when the idea that trans was mainstream in any way was not anything any of us would ever have said.

This is in Massachusetts, where everyone thinks we're safe.

To be clear, I don’t think our wealthier are some worse/stupider species of human elites than the Gilded Age. I think we “invented dating and sexual rituals with attractive people involving phones and profiles more than money”, which created a worse and stupider class of elites.
