It's actually not, it has become the marker of an in group to a certain type of leftist.

In group markers don't need to be logical, it's predominantly done to show others how we're like them and it has done so for a certain left because the far right has embrace AI slop/scam so strongly.
it is truly a mystery why a bunch of people are intensely negatively polarized against AI now, yes
Can’t imagine why people don’t like the technology that they’ve been telling us for years is designed to take our jobs and replace normal human interactions and sexual relationships

Conservatives as a group—although I can’t really see any meaningful difference other than the far right being louder and enjoying cosplay more.
even when far rightwingers are having an extremely positive experience on all fronts they’re still able to hallucinate a situation where they’re the victim

When I looked at the full transcript I was surprised she never used his full name, just C.Z., which seems weird. Also, in full Trump's answers are a ramblin'.

Musk turned against Farage and apart from funding Robinson’s legal expenses he also stirred up hate in his video appearance at Robinson’s march. Note that for this far right march police did not use facial recognition - it is apparently reserved for any perceived left wing group inc. pro Palestine.

🔺 Despite constituting a small proportion of the far-right electorate, this social group forms a core part of what can be termed a cross-class 'coalition' of grievance that makes it possible for far-right parties to broaden their electoral base

At best, revealing a suspects ethnicity, nationality, or religion, channels far-right violence to the "right" group.

But of course, that won't apply if the suspect is a white British Christian.

He calls the far-right group Britain First a patriotic political party. Its leader went to gaol for hate crimes.

If some guests on his podcast were so called progressives they had no business going on a far right podcast. Guess they’re willing to align w/ the far right bc they agree w/ antisemitism. Sad- bigotry is never selective. There is no single group you can oppress that will appease, more will follow.

Will Stancil's analysis of our current moment hinges a lot on social media dynamics—ie, he argues that group think/desire for clicks/herding leads people to cluster around certain kinds of conventional wisdom and that that has boosted the far right—and also what he sees as ugly left dynamics.1
