My assumption is that the New York Post has better sources inside Heritage than most other press outlets. One tidbit of note: Princeton's Robert P. George, a Heritage trustee, is said to be pushing fellow board members to oust its president Kevin Roberts. Hope he succeeds.

It's actually not, it has become the marker of an in group to a certain type of leftist.

In group markers don't need to be logical, it's predominantly done to show others how we're like them and it has done so for a certain left because the far right has embrace AI slop/scam so strongly.

There's also a small rational group who hate AI for rational reason, but the annoying people about it are not rational.

It's a marker and thus if you don't embrace it you're not part of their group and they hate you for that.

The Texas Dept of Public Safety carried out aerial surveillance of Austin's No Kings protest after Gov. Abbott suggested that "violence & destruction" were likely.

Of course, the event was peaceful. Even the pilot, in video I obtained via FOIA, says: "Seems like it’s gonna be pretty peaceful, huh?"

In Quebec City, Bruno Marchand handily beat the “Tramway non merci” campaigner.

That there are now problems that vividly demand to be resolved and it’s not by feigning normalcy that they will get resolved. It’s by changing the status quo.
Instead of sitting on their lauriers they should seek out the next ideological hegemon, but they’re too focused on crying like babies.
