Guy totally gets it. No wonder the Ds hate him. This isn’t sound conservative philosophy stating the rich get it all while the working class gives up every right, gets fewer services, and pay more to buy this for the richies (and the majority of the Ds got fabulously rich in “public service” 🤔).
Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:

WTF could she possibly have that is interesting enough to make a documentary about her life? Her efforts to stay away from her husband?

I’m so over the surplus of narcissists out there. They seem to transcend ideology, but the right wing, especially these maga loons, seem to take the cake.

Same, although I do limit my intake to just a few to cut down on the waste.
I still love reading journals and periodicals without needing to be logged in.

$114 for a sheet of janky 3/4 paint grade birch ply thanks to these tariff-hungry rich morons looking to trash the economy so they can own everything and everyone at fire sale prices.

Content generated by AI isn't even the biggest problem.

The biggest problem is "AI-in-the-middle" of literally everything.

I don't have the words to fully express how much of a risk, and how dangerous this is for society, it's humanity's worst nightmare.

It's the biggest threat we've ever faced.

The reason the top 10% of income earners pay more than half of all tax revenue is NOT because they are taxed more than ever.

Their tax rate has been cut FIVE times in the last 25 years.

They are paying more because their INCOME has increased astronomically, where the income of the bottom half has

It's that time again! We're offering 10% off on all items in the Ermine store, with 3% of total sales going to Food Bank of Alaska to support members of our community facing food insecurity.

The president has illegally declared war to stop fentanyl trafficking from a country that does not traffic that drug, claiming its leader is trafficking drugs himself, the day after pardoning a former leader of a country who is a convicted drug trafficker.
Just to level set

Here’s a hotter take. I don’t want lawmakers to be able to afford mansions. We should have a look into the finances of those who do.
Here’s a hot take: I don’t want to see lawmakers posting holiday pictures from their mansions — I don’t care which party.

Keep that shit to yourself.

From Stan Lee’s “How to Draw Comics.” I’m all for keeping references nearby, but that bookcase seems to be in a really, really inconvenient spot in relation to the drafting table.

Think about all the evil assholes in this administration.

They *all* expect to die of old age, obscenely wealthy, surrounded by family, because that is how the US has allowed *every single previous evil asshole* to live after doing their atrocities.

They learned they will never be punished.

This is personal.

On a serious note, one can’t just randomly overfish large areas or one species and expect things to fix themselves or return to normal forever. Without a healthy ocean, we are all screwed.
On September 26, a tiny herring savings area closed to trawling, as they were near their limit of herring bycatch.

Since then, trawlers have exceeded their herring bycatch limit by almost one million pounds.

Right to the meat of the matter. Think about it. If the collective of people elected to office to supposedly represent the peoples’ interests see any function but their own comfort, safety and security as a burden, we don’t have a representative government of, by, and for the people. We have royalty
It’s not just rampant anti-intellectualism in politics it’s also that the only state functions both sides uniformly get behind are surveillance and imprisonment the other parts of state capacity are viewed as burdens to be resolved not actual requirements of running a country
