As a CA lineman LADWP hired lots of lineman from red states, wages and benefits.
This 👇
Willie F. Warren (PG&E): Hired in 1966, he became one of the first Black journeyman linemen
John "Johnny" Lee Willis (SCE): Broke barriers at Southern California Edison after persistent, daily applications 👇
I live in a solid blue state with a Dem trifecta.

You’ll never guess why it’s so expensive to live here (Sarcasm)

Things are expensive because social programs, good schools, higher wages, and all the things people claim to love are expensive.

Y’all never talk about that part.

Nothing is free.
That's absolving him of any accountability, you can't keep saying Democrats would do so much more for ppl if they had more power when you can look at solid Blue States that are hemorrhaging people bc they can't afford to live there. Libs believe a good economy trickles down to a better life for all

I'm not saying I find orcs built like chubby linemen hot...

I'm saying if a party of them raided the castle I will "be abducted" and won't come back until I look like an overstuffed Boston Creme doughnut.

After winning the first Protector of the Year Award, Joe Thuney received some messages from some of the great offensive linemen who came before him

The NFL Draft is 6️⃣9️⃣ days away, but I'm already seeing a consensus about the strongest position group.

My latest at @bn-bears.bsky.social explores what experts, insiders, and pundits are saying about a robust class of defensive linemen and unearths some good Bears fits.

That’s progrum guy. You need your linemen playing up to the line of a personal foul on every play.

Much like you should never hear the name of your football team's interior linemen, you should never know the name of the Olympic skating judges.

Yeah you're on another one dude. I didn't call your take stupid. And I definitely don't believe any reasonable person believes the only reason they lost is because of two rookie linemen. Have a good day, touch grass.

We need O-linemen, Ringmaiden. You let Broxton go! We need protection for Rourke. Not more defensive backs. Prediction: another mediocre season where Rourke is injured within five games because of no protection.

Late in the game, Kubiak went ultra-heavy: two tight ends plus two extra offensive linemen (Olu Oluwatimi and Josh Jones). The formation itself stressed New England’s personnel. That drive likely ends in a touchdown if not for a Jalen Sundell holding penalty.

Since The War began in 2014, DOZENS of Ukrainian energy workers have been intentionally killed at work by Russia.

In 2014-2021, it was mostly electricity linemen and natgas pipefitters attacked by Russian troops with artillery while doing repairs during the "peace" in Donbas.

Yet another intentional Russian drone strike hit a civilian electricity company crew repairing power lines in near-frontline areas of Ukraine yesterday, according to DTEK's post last evening.

The linemen escaped unharmed🙏, but their bucket truck was destroyed.

Listening to NFL Daily's Trade Targets episode - in fairness to Jackson Powers-Johnson, the Carroll system of offensive linemen seems to frequently involve moving players out of their best positions for no apparent reason.

@greggrosenthal.bsky.social I know you’re low on Campbell but being down on last years draft is madness - you got a good starting safety in R4, Campbell/Wilson had rough playoffs but were solid starting linemen most the year, Henderson had over 1k yards! Still a lot to play out but it’s an…

Myles Garret looking way more nervous watching Chloe Kim run the half pipe than he ever did getting double-teamed by 350 lb offensive linemen.

Yeah that’s a key metric but I have not found reliable figures to compare. “Staged” vs “available” is also an important distinction.

The way some people talk, there were standing armies of linemen at the ready for other utilities and I don’t think that’s the case. Labor is expensive.

For years, Penn State struggled to land big-bodied defensive linemen.

That might be changing under D’Anton Lynn.

Here’s why the new scheme opens the door for a different type of recruit ⬇️
