Glad to hear it. Appalled by some of the love here for that show, although poorly rated on IMDB. It's the most anti-Roddenberry of all series.

Oh yeah. Stood upfront of Buxton on the LITD tour and my world changed. He and Bruce made the most incredible sound, rough and almost dangerous compared to the album. I couldn't hear Furnier much so it was an instrumental blast. That there's no recordings is a sin. (Much like Buffalo Springfield.)

This is the beef I have with Ezrin's approach. Yes, he got a round, juicy tone from the guitars. But on "Easy Action", despite the guitars being too low in the mix, the guitars sizzle with electricity, from pickup to amp. Ezrin shaved that part off, giving us a beautiful tone minus the sizzle I love

Thanks for your insights, Dan. Always loved how Dunaway played his bass, almost like a third guitar, or lead bass. I will keep an open mind. I do love the first two AC albums, horrible production and all.

Good to hear. I gave up on the band with the "School's Out" LP. Without the dominance of the guitar firepower of Glen Buxton and Michael Bruce, they weren't Alice Cooper anymore. At least for me.
