My friend's son was hit by a car whilst cycling yesterday outside Swindon. He is seriously injured. The car sped off and the police are looking for witnesses, particularly those with dashcams.

8 years ago, ‘three wise men’ on camels came to hang out in the Swan Centre at Leatherhead, only to nearly stampede when my dad bought them some carrots. Turns out camels reallllly like carrots (he *had* cleared it with one of the wise men but the reaction still took ‘em by surprise).

So, yesterday Eurovision made a decision to swap Spain, Ireland, Netherlands and Slovenia (and possibly Iceland and Belgium too) for one (1) Israel.
This begs the question, what next? I presume the EBU are hoping that they've taken a hit but now they can stem the bleeding. But can they?

That reminds me, the new AI thing set up by the company I work for to generate driving routes? It does nothing. Not a sausage. No new routes for days.
All of the companies that make the software I use are increasing their prices, to account for an "investment" in AI.
I'm sat here imagining how my clients would feel if I added 30% to each invoice, because I "really got into gambling".
