The filing deadline has already passed in many states and key elections have drawn just one candidate. In Nevada, for instance, no one filed to challenge the two conservative supreme court justices who are up for reelection this year.

Me: I don't have time to cook potatoes right now.
W: No, I want a raw potato.
M: ...a raw potato. A big one or a little one?
W: A little one.
M: You want a little raw potato....
M: You're weird.
M: At least it has vitamin C.

If you were a member of @seattlein2025.org ,then you should, as I understand it,have nomination rights for @laworldcon.bsky.social and thus do NOT need to get a membership in order to nominate.
BUT! without an LA membership, you will NOT be able to vote in the final voting phase post-nominations

PublicSquare seems to have memory-holed its marketplace pages, but I just scraped 40k of them from the Wayback Machine and extracted JSON data for 37k businesses, including 34k distinct email addresses, 31k phone numbers, physical addresses, etc.
I remember searching the PublicSquare listings just a few months ago - the tool that let you view affiliated businesses by state appears to be GONE now.

Guess the MAGA's realized they are, in fact, widely hated.

Abolish ICE. Salt the ground beneath it. Impeach and remove from office every official that had anything to do with this.

Do not vote for any bill, or cloture, that supports ICE in any way. I will not vote for any politician that does so.
