It’s not that hard to flash an usb with ubuntu/mint/fedora/debian and just try out a normal distro

Big AI is trying to rent-seek not just general computing but basically all computing at this point. It's the ultimate hypercapitalist dream because everything is computer now. Basically everything wrong with the world today is due to greed-ridden "elites" thinking the line must go up forever
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

Honestly, AI slop PRs are becoming increasingly draining and demoralizing for #Godot maintainers.
If you want to help, more funding so we can pay more maintainers to deal with the slop (on top of everything we do already) is the only viable solution I can think of:

Godot's GitHub has increasingly many pull requests generated by LLMs and it's a MASSIVE time waster for reviewers – especially if people don't disclose it. Changes often make no sense, descriptions are extremely verbose, users don't understand their own changes… It's a total shitshow. #godotengine
