Same weird forester/forest ecologist/occasional essayist you knew from Twitter. Just a big damn squirrel specializing in regenerative forestry practices and encouraging old growth character

Known by some as "Gandalf" and "That God Damned Tree Wizard"

Be forewarned, I am deeply unserious about a great many things.

Losing her must have hurt poor Georges for the rest of his life.

Don't forget this stuff, and don't turn away.

She was deported to Auschwitz from Drancy on 31 July 1944 and was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection. Her brother Georges survived in hiding.

One of the most exciting discoveries from JWST is "Little Red Dots": ultra-distant galaxies rapidly forming new stars & spawning a giant black hole

They tell us that galaxies grew up a lot faster than we thought. We don't know how--but new observations offer clues. 🧪🔭

Walter de Staplecat, Simpkin IV, Teabag, Balthasar and Benny D Cat take the stage as we meet the college cats of Oxford. And, of course, Magdalen’s Ozymandias. Read on for our photo special. (Includes a cat map.) oxfordclarion.uk/college-cats...

Hey yall remember that last scene in toy story 3 when the toys are in the trash incinerator and they realize the game is up and they look at each other and hold hands and it just cuts to black?

Best ending to a movie and a series I have ever seen.

Don't know why that popped into my head, but yeah.
