It was an honour to attend the RNIB's 'Out of Sight: vision rehabilitation' drop-in.
I heard about the difference that timely access to local authority support - known as vision rehabilitation, can make, and learnt more about this vital but often overlooked part of social care.

With the amount of publicity F1A and Mercedes seem to be giving Doriane it now seems almost inevitable that she'll be continuing as a Mercedes driver because, um, you don't do this and then send her off to race Porsches for the Iron Dames. Quite what that means is anyone's guess.

This is the kind of thing we have to get better at. Need to equip local authorities (or in this case IMO, the railway authority) with the powers to CPO and develop this stuff.
Yeah, our council keep pushing for a 2nd entrance/trying to encourage the owner to develop the old goods warehouse by using the bottom floors for parking (to pay for the development of the other floors). The owner seems pretty happy with another 30+ years of dereliction.
