No, abolish ICE. They are already violating laws. Enacting more won’t stop them, they’ll just ignore the new ones, too. Get rid of the whole thing.
We’ve all seen videos of ICE’s lawlessness. It must stop. We must overhaul ICE now.

@neguse.house.gov I had someone come by my house looking for my signature to get you on the ballot. I declined because of your piss-poor opinions an actions (lack thereof) on Gaza and your acceptance of AIPAC money. Are you going to continue to accept their money?
I hope Dems begin to see that moderate or progressive, AIPAC is not our friend.

They endorse January 6th insurrectionists. Yet if you so much as suggest the US uphold its own Leahy laws, no matter your record, they will work against you.

Am I the only one who reads his name as "Ross Asshat"? Tell me I'm not the only one!
👀 Apparently, Ross Douthat invited Seth Harp to debate him on Douthat's "Interesting Times" NYT podcast. Harp says that the episode was recorded, Douthat got crushed, and RD/NYT decided not to publish it.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

A minor thing, but I hope the NIMBYs who typically scream that safe streets and housing advocates are just paid shills or in the pocket of Big Bike or whatever understand that they're a lot closer to Trumpism than they probably care to admit.
The fact that every right winger with influence screams "who is paying for all of this" tells you exactly how awash in cash they all are, and how much they rely on that to keep their movement afloat.
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

In fact the law (which I don’t like in this case) says you can do just that and the law (which I like and we all depend on to survive every day) says the state and its agents cannot perpetrate extrajudicial killings and then refuse all investigation - that is the definition of lawless tyranny.
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)

You don’t set a deadline, Congress already did, which has passed, you muppet.
WELKER: When will all Epstein files be released?

BLANCHE: Look, we've been working literally 7 days a week to go through them, but there is nothing more important than protecting the victims. We will not rush that process.

WELKER: How soon?

BLANCHE: I'm not going to create an artificial deadline

Tonight my family went to a local restaurant for dinner. The kind of place that we see people we know from the neighborhood and community basically every time we go. Tonight was no different. It’s awesome that kind of place still exists!

This was murder. Pretti did not initiate the confrontation. He didn’t strike them. He didn’t brandish his gun. They tackled him, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him.
Holy crap.

This is the most damning video yet.

It shows Border Patrol agents clearly taking Alex's firearm, running it away, and THEN executed him in cold blood by emptying a clip into his face.

Murder.

So the “everyone should be armed” second amendment crowd is using the fact the a man was armed (maybe) as justification?

Is this right?
