Exercised is not causing muscle damage in ME/CFS. Instead, inflammation, and problems with metabolism and poor muscle repair is producing postexertional malaise.

#cat people of Bluesky I need help.

My cat Queen Mab went in for dental surgery on Thursday. They ended up removing 13 of her teeth without informing me… after they said she had degenerative gum disease. They gave me my cat half comatose and cold.

Big opportunity for the @bcgreens.bsky.social! There's a huge constituency of those impacted by COVID and long COVID that currently has no political home - and those numbers are only going to grow as more people realize what's been done to them.

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Are you sure you want to keep breathing all this stuff in without any precaution?
