I feel like Kills and Ends could’ve been combined into one cohesive film. Like make it seem that Michael died in the fire. Then the weird male lead is or maybe isn’t the killer, the town is in a fervor then BAM Michael is back and finally goes down.

I met Sam Raimi in New Orleans. I’d just been accepted to film school. When he heard I was retiring from the coast guard he said “you look too young to say that.” Then asked what I’d do now. I told him I was using my GI bill to go to film school. His reply “that made my fucking day.”

For #IndigenousPeoplesDay I recognize that I live on traditional Potawatomi, Ho-Chunk and Menominee land. We have so much further to go as a country in terms of #equity and #equality. We’re a nation built on stolen land by enslaved people. We owe a debt and I hope in my lifetime it is paid.
