I recently encountered a lovely answer to the question "so does Daoism care about reincarnation?" that talked about how one goal of inner alchemy work is to stop clinging to unconscious attachments and prior conceptions of identity and experience, so that reincarnation can occur in every moment.
I used to worry this made me fake or artificial but the reality is that all identities are somewhat artificially constructed and it would be infinitely more concerning if living as a woman had no major effect on who I am
in retrospect it's incredibly funny how pretty much every trans person I know tried to reassure the people around them that they were still the same person and nothing was going to change outside of their genders early transition only to end up completely unrecognizable a few years in

Honestly, AI slop PRs are becoming increasingly draining and demoralizing for #Godot maintainers.
If you want to help, more funding so we can pay more maintainers to deal with the slop (on top of everything we do already) is the only viable solution I can think of:

Godot's GitHub has increasingly many pull requests generated by LLMs and it's a MASSIVE time waster for reviewers – especially if people don't disclose it. Changes often make no sense, descriptions are extremely verbose, users don't understand their own changes… It's a total shitshow. #godotengine

old man yelling at cloud but forums were great for maintaining a historical record for niche communities. my specific gripe is for magic the gathering, decks in eternal formats were developed in years of threads and you could go back and see how cards were implemented from new sets over time

I do think that a possibly underrated dynamic in The Horrors is that the Right as it has reconstituted itself under Trump legitimately can’t understand sincere moral or physical courage
