Being able to adjust one 'contour' asset and have the whole thing update vs manually tweaking verts was more flow-y. Cutters, adjusting the top separately from the base, having interiors, and a lot of other things were added as we went to allow more fine control.

We switched a long time before the cutter thing was thought of. A friend of mine had built the start of PathShapes for a school project and I could already tell it would be much faster to iterate the kind of shapes you need for a platformer.

Reality check for people doing Next Fest: it’s a multiplier on how many wishlists you have going in and aside from that your chart ranking is based on how many eyeballs / players / playtime you bring in. Don’t expect a huge bump if you’re just setting it live without much hustle.
