Alice in Wonderland - this had claymation cutscenes and voice acted interactions that were both fascinating and uncanny. And action platformer with good puzzles and...frustratingly odd scenarios.

Yeah, HK is a metroidvania platformer in terms of progression. But very much a soulslike in terms of aesthetic and gameplay philosophy. It's got the environmental story telling, the hard as nails bosses, the reset points and run back to corpes for resources lost if you die again.

I spent some time improving the jump. It's snappier and more reliable now. Alot less floaty but still a little bit since Mimo is a ghost cat.

ngl Glover has made me think about the fact that there's something about the vibe of Nintendo 64 games that only N64 games have, like it doesn't matter if it's an FPS, platformer, RPG or otherwise, all N64 games have a vibe that is unique and makes it unmistakable what platform they were made for!

At this point it's a genuine miracle that games still have identifiable unique things about them and they all aren't just. Puzzle platformer action rpgs with skill trees, roguelike elements, and sanitized as fuck controls so you can Pacific rim brain link yourself to your game avatar

Really like how unique this game feels as a 3D platformer making it stay out and can tell the movement is gonna be so addicting to mess around with in the full game, a lot of potential overall and definitely gonna buy this whenever it's out

I'm unsure what to call the genre.
Adventure Platformer would be the most accurate. I think people would call it a Movement Platformer
