Attention #artists! Stop guessing your hourly rate. If you need $2,760/mo to survive, but you only do "deep work" for 20 hours a week... Charging $25/hr means you are slowly going bankrupt. Here is the math. 🧵

A poster with all the whale and dolphin species found around Andenes, Norway. It was a nice challenge depicting the animals in a dynamic way, keeping the scale of each whale correct.
Drawings are made in Copic Marker and colored pencil

Hey @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team please unsuspend Goran immediately.

Goran is a great person, a great artist, and the whole anti-Palestine thing youre on is one of those "Ford funding Hitler" disasters you remember being shocked and dismayed by when you learned of in middle school.

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

Me and my Frankenstein macbook pro laugh at this.

2017 base, 2018 display and soon to be 2025 battery

If it ain't broke beyond fixin' don't replace it.

Screw corporations and their planned obsolescence
"device hoarding" also known as: When someone hasn't replaced the one phone that they have in a few years because they had no reason to. Words used to mean things.
stupid young people, stop buying a new phone every year if you don't want to be broke. wait no, not like that.

Hello network. This is real shit. I’m looking for transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming front and back end web designers for a project to help trans people get housing in NJ. This is a paid opportunity.

Please share this if you see it, and my DMs are open for more information. Tysm 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

#telekitneticart #indigenousart If you weren't aware already, this is the unfortunate hand I've been dealt this holiday season: having to job hunt in the winter while a potential recession is on the horizon.

Hello there! Don’t let Monday wreck you!

It helps me to look back at past bird photos from trips to transport me back!

Join me in reminiscing about this Brown Violetear from my first trip to Colombia this past March to lessen the Monday suck 👍

I got clobbered with exhaustion today. My birds wouldn't let me rest either and kept screeching for attention, and by the time they settled it was late and I was anxious about getting nothing done. But I still haven't finished everything I need to 🙃😔

I began this drawing as a simple sketch to test some paper (a new batch of Fabriano Artistico 300lb). The red crest was such a treat to draw after using so many greys! I see and/or hear red-bellied woodpeckers almost every day, but it never gets boring :)

I’m happy with the paper. #SciArt #Birds

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.
