I greatly enjoy the idea that two oceans will not properly mix where the boundary meets. A big part of me feels like that is fake though...the Atlantic and Pacific ocean are definitely chill with each other and blending together

+ while you must learn and understand the art fundamentals, you should not be approaching things like perspective mathematically when you actually have a design brain!
