Yes, I am stunned that 13 movies, some of which featured the most iconic characters of all time, out grossed five movies.
Also, Kathleen Kennedy produced Jurassic Park. Are we really going to pretend Jurassic Park didn't make money, especially after inflation?

I assume Mihoyo thinks the problem is the fan art might trigger angry fans, as opposed to the angry fans being the problem.

I don't usually go to the Genshin Impact fandom but apparently Nathan Nokes, Ororon's VA, can't retweet/share any Genshin Impact fanart due to a mandate from MiHoYo. It's speculated to be because of shipping drama, but regardless of the reason this feels like such a shitty move

I think JASRAC as an association needs to get bent, especially when their absurd music lyric licensing antics have left a bunch of recent anime and manga with giant chunks just totally untranslated or censored rather than translating lyrics to songs that are essential to scenes.
