Doing 2D animation again for fun has been pretty great. Nothing is stopping you from animating characters you’ve always wanted to draw, the bonus being you hone your skills for that particular style or approach. Studying and applying from what I observe is what I enjoy the most about the process.

I’ve been in a pretty dark place these last few weeks it seems, but I will say, seeing Rebecca perform last night really did boost my spirits. Between her music, her stage presence, the band (including Snake Pool) and just the sheer enthusiasm and of the crowd, it invoked hope n positivity in me.

Clean-up. Animation requires patience, but for me that step slows me down to a crawl to the point that my nomadic brain starts to lose interest very quick and the process becomes unbearable. Doesn’t help that my hands shake too much to do decent inking, even with stabilizers (thanks heart failure!)
