Putting aside the deeper issues of why this analysis was done and how it has been promoted, the choice to broadcast a tv show before releasing a preprint should make people skeptical of the results. How can one be sure of their scientific claims?
As I told the CNN, without details and data it is not possible to assess the claims.

![¿Cuando crees, pues, que empezaremos a notar esta crisis energética?
Esperaba verlo de viejito, pero creo que no. [Ríe.] Con la pandemia se ha acelerado mucho. Creo que los problemas grandes llegarán antes del 2025. El último informe de la Agencia Internacional de la Energía también apunta hacia aquí en uno de los cuatro escenarios de futuro. Se prevé una caída del 50% de la producción de petróleo en menos de cinco años. Se dice pronto. Puede que los estados intervengan con medidas de racionamiento o nacionalizando empresas para seguir produciendo petróleo. En este caso, la caída sería menor, pero de todos modos muy considerable. Para comparar, tengamos en cuenta que durante la crisis de 2008 el consumo de petróleo sólo cayó un 4%. De aquí al 2025 nos enfrentaremos a una crisis económica que hará que la de 2008 nos parezca una broma. Muchas materias primas que utilizamos se extraen con petróleo, todo se transporta con camiones que van con petróleo. Cuando empiece a escasear, acabará afectando todo. Por ejemplo, en ciudades como Barcelona, ¿qué pasa con la distribución de alimentos? Yo no me esperaba esta aceleración. Pero, claro, si tienes un problema y no lo resuelves, al final se acaba haciendo mayor. El máximo de producción de petróleo crudo fue en 2005. Hemos dejado pasar el problema durante 15 años poniendo parches. Sin duda el tema inventado de este trimestre.
Hacen falta huevos para decir 'la re resurge en la generación Z' cuando cada generación es más atea que la anterior según el CIS, la misma fuente que dan. Lo más probable es que de haber un aumento real y no cambio metodológico, es que se vuelve más practicante la gente ya creyente, no conversión
